ALROSA diamond sales fall 23% to $170.5 mln in July

MOSCOW, Aug 9 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond mining giant ALROSA decreased sales by 23% on the month to U.S. $170.5 million in July, including $164.6 million of rough diamonds and $5.9 million of polished diamonds, the company said in a statement on Friday.

In January–July, the company’s sales fell 34.6% to $1.982 billion, including $1.949 billion of rough diamonds and $33.1 million of polished diamonds.
